USPS Ground (United States Postal Service) Shipping Information

  • Free Shipping: Orders of $70.00 or more qualify for free shipping.
  • Flat Rate Shipping: A flat fee of $7 applies to orders below $70.00.
  • Shipping Method: We ship via USPS Ground within the United States only.
  • Delivery Timeframe: USPS Ground typically delivers within 1-7 business days; however, this is not guaranteed.
  • Expedited Shipping: We do not offer overnight or expedited shipping.
  • International Shipping: Currently, we do not offer international shipping.

USPS Ground Transit Time Estimates

  • Northeast: Approximately 1-3 business days
  • Southeast: Approximately 2-3 business days
  • Southwest: Approximately 3-5 business days
  • Midwest: Approximately 3-4 business days
  • West Coast: Approximately 4-7 business days
  • Alaska and Hawaii: Approximately 5-9 business days 

Please note that these estimates are based on standard USPS Ground transit times and can vary due to factors such as weather, holidays, and operational delays. These estimates do not include weekends and holidays.

Processing Time

  • Please allow 2-4 business days for your order to be packed and shipped.
  • Orders placed at 12pm or later will be begin processing the following business day.  
  • As a small business, we strive to prepare your order for shipping as quickly as possible.

Order Confirmation & Tracking

  • Upon placing your order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email. Please check your junk/spam/receipt folder for this email.
  • Once your order ships, you will receive an email with USPS tracking information. Please check your junk/spam/receipt folder for this tracking email.
  • After your order ships, please follow up directly with USPS for any additional tracking updates or package issues.

USPS Shipping Issues

  • Inaccurate or Non-Deliverable Addresses: We are not responsible for packages that are non-deliverable due to inaccurate address information entered at checkout or the absence of someone to receive the package. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or non-deliverable address and you wish to have it resent, you will be responsible for the additional shipping fees. We are unable to re-ship packages for free.
  • Stolen Packages: Clipper Ship Tea Co. is not responsible for stolen packages. It is your responsibility to provide us with a secure shipping address. If your package is stolen from your doorstep, we cannot issue a refund or replacement.
  • USPS Delivery Delays: During busy seasons, such as the holidays, USPS may experience delays or slight inconsistencies with tracking information. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot control USPS shipping delays.
  • Marked Delivered but Not Received: Occasionally, USPS will mark a package as "Delivered" before it has actually arrived. This can happen when a package is still on the delivery truck or is expected to arrive the following day. Please wait 24 hours before contacting us regarding a package marked as delivered but not received.
