Description: Shui Xian, or “Water Sprite,” is a highly oxidized, high-fired oolong from the northern Fujian province in the Wuyi Mountains of China. This region is known for its steep cliffs, sediment-rich soil, and long history of crafting dark oolongs in the traditional twisted leaf style.
Grown at elevations over 2,600 feet, this tea brews a rich-tasting, amber-colored cup with layered notes of minerals, peach, apricot, and warm spice.
Smooth and satisfying, Shui Xian is a staff favorite and an excellent choice for an everyday oolong. Its depth and balance make it ideal for multiple infusions. .
This tea also makes an incredible iced tea — recommended for those who enjoy iced oolongs as well as drinkers of traditional black iced teas.

Steep Directions: steep 1 heaping teaspoon of tea per 8 oz below boiling water, 195°F, for 3-4 minutes
