A smooth black tea with subtle notes of wood, caramel, chocolate, and earthiness. A good choice for those who enjoy Golden Monkey Tea, Yunnan Gold Tea, and pu'er teas.
This tea is designed for multiple infusions as the pearls will unfurl and reveal different flavors with each subsequent infusion. When the the pearls are completely unfurled, and opened into full tea leaves, that usually marks the last infusion.
Ingredients: rolled black tea from from Yunnan province China
Steep Directions: steep 2-3 pearls of tea per 8 oz of boiling water for 3-5 minutes.
Try doing multiple infusions of this tea by re-steeping the same pearls several times. Steep repeatedly with increasing steep times such as: 1 min, 2 min, 3 min, and 4 minutes. Continue until the rolled leaves are completely unfurled.
